来歴
2009年にサム・ハリスと兄のケイシー・ハリス、サムの幼馴染であるノア・フェルドシュ、アダム・レヴィンの4人で「Ambassadors」結成。同年に自主制作EP『Ambassadors』を発売した。
2013年にバンド名を現在の「X Ambassadors」へ変更し、インタースコープ・レコード傘下のKidinaKornerからEP『Love Songs Drug Songs』をリリース。その後はレーベルメイトのイマジン・ドラゴンズやジミー・イート・ワールドらのワールド・ツアーに参加。2015年に1枚目のアルバム『VHS』をリリースすると、ビルボード・チャート7位を記録。2016年のビルボード・ミュージック・アワード2016では「トップ・ロック・アーティスト賞」と「トップ・ロック・ソング賞」にノミネートされた。
