- ウォーク・ザ・ムーン（WALK THE MOON）は、アメリカ・オハイオ州のシンシナティ出身の4人組ロックバンドである。
バイオグラフィー
バンドのシンガーで、中心人物のニコラス・ペトリッカにより、2008年にシンシナティにて、ギタリストのイーライ・メーマン、ベーシストのケヴィン・レイ、ドラマーのショーン・ワーガマンにより結成。ポリスの'Walking On The Moon'にヒントを得て、バンドを命名する。2010年11月にインディーズでデビュー作『I WANT!WANT!』を発表。このアルバムに収録されている'Anna Sun'が、アメリカの複数のステーションにて、エアプレイを稼ぐと、翌2011年2月には、現マネージメントと契約を結ぶと共に、ソニー・ミュージックエンタテイメント傘下のRCAより、2012年6月、アルバム『Walk The Moon』でメジャーデビューを果たす。
2014年11月には、メジャーデビュー2作目となる『Talking is Hard』を発表。それに先駆けて、同年9月にシングル'Shut Up And Dance'を先行リリース。'80sヒッツフレーヴァーの強いこの曲は、ビルボード・HOT100のTOP 10にランクインし、彼らにとって、初のヒットとなる（2015年5月30日付け、ビルボードHOT100で4位に上昇している）。
